For Blokes ONLY - ‘A Call to Purity - Whole Lifestyle Accountability’

Logie & St John’s Cross Church -  Saturday 27th September

This is a day of worship, challenge, fellowship, reflection & support for men. A day inspired by an awareness of some of the pressures & temptations in the lives of Christian men;

  • Pressures to take up a lifestyle not wholly consistent with our faith;
  • Temptations which lead, often unwittingly, into destructive thought processes;
  • Pressures which affect our closest relationships: Temptations which cause us to lose the joy of the Lord.

Throughout the course of the day the intention is to inform & support, to share experiences & successes & to help us reflect on the positive outcomes of our roles as Christian men in society. The day will be a mix of whole-conference sessions & topic seminars on practical, relevant issues; prayer support will be available if required. You will be encouraged & blessed by the openness of the speakers as they share their struggles and victories. The hope is that men will leave at the end of the day better equipped, both spiritually and practically, to deal with life’s temptations, pressures and stresses. Why not come with a car-full - or a bus-full! - of men from your church? This event will take place on Sat 27th Sep at Logie & St John’s (Cross) Parish Church - registration opens at 9.15am for a 9.50am start & close around 4.30pm. Tickets £10 available in advance @ Wesley Owen, CLC, or call 08444 100 100. Tickets also available on the day (subject to availability)
